Description:
12, 14, 15 & 16 AWG insulated solid copper condrrctors with polyvinylchloride (PVC) insulation twisterd. Each conductor individually rated for a maximum temperature of 60 deqrees C in wet or dry locations for circuits not exceeding 600 Volts. The twisted product is suitable for use as a communication (Mine-Telephone ) cable.

Conductor:
Soft drawn, Bare or electroplated tin, annealed solid copper conductors in accordance with ASTM B 3-74 and ASTM B 33-74. The minimum tensile strength shall not be less than 1500 PSI
The insulation shaIl be a nominal average thickness of .030" (.76mm) of Pvc rated for 600 volts, 60 degree c operating performance with an insulation resistance of 14O megaohms. To the extent specified, insulation shall comply with the requirements of uL 83. Eash conductor shall be spark tested at 734@ VAC.
Cable Assembly:
The insulated conductors, consisting of one black and one white, shall be twisted into a cable assembly accoring to industry standards. The final cable shall have a lay length of approximately 12 times the overall diameter of the twisted cable.
