Wire And Cable Your Way wants to thank our customer, Joe, in Michigan for sending us a few pics of a Solar Hot Water System install.

Joe purchased our 18-2C Shielded CMP Plenum Security Cable for this solar application.

The 18-2C Shielded Cable is zip tied to the supply line of the solar system.  One end is connected to the solar control at the equipment room and the other end is connected to the solar sensor which is inside the solar panel.

I was happy to see this because I love all things tortilla - tortilla chips with dip - tortillas for fajitas - or a tortilla wrapped in a good ole breakfast burrito!  Maybe we can get one for the office, Javier?

Our friend & customer up in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York sent us an incredible letter with a bunch of photos and descriptions of a wind turbine and solar panel set up outside his cabin.

I will post the letter shortly but first wanted to show his battery bank hooked up with #2 Welding Cable Class K he purchased from Wire & Cable To Go recently.

The battery bank has 6-110 amp hour AGM batteries (they do not off gas so are approved for use indoors). From the photo it looks like he is using UB121100 Universal Batteries.

The wind turbine being used is 46' in the air and produces 400 watts at 12 volts DC.

We recently received these photos from our customer, Robert, who is a Technical Director for a Performing Arts Theatre at a University in Kentucky.

Robert purchased 12/3 SJOOW 300v UL/CSA Listed Portable Cords for this beautiful theatre.

The top left picture shows the 12/3 SJOOW Portable Cord prior to installation with female stage pin connectors attached, which Robert's team attached themselves.

The top right picture shows the 12/3 SJOOW Portable Cord  attached to the circuit box in the theater.

Robert is using the 12/3 SJOOW Cord to power up lighting instruments on the stage!

Wire & Cable To Go just received these photos from our friend and customer Michael in Virginia, who purchased our 14/7 Tray Cable (THHN-PVC) for a 1200 btu mini split ductless heat pump - a/c unit.

Our 14 awg multi-conductor Tray Cable (THHN-PVC) are common for mini-split a/c control cabling.  They come in multicolored conductors which can be seen above.

Other popular cables our customers purchase for a/c control cabling are multiconductor SOOW & SEOOW Portable Cords.

One of the main differences between the Tray Cables and the SOOW/SEOOW Portable Cords are the difference in the outside jackets.

The SOOW & SEOOW are more flexible cords while the Tray Cable has a stiffer PVC jacket.

Our good friend out in Wisconsin, Tom, sent in this picture of a recent sub amp installation he did for a client's car.

Tom purchased our 1/0 Welding Cable Class K and 1/0 Welding Cable Class M which allowed him to power up this 56 inch Digital Designs; S2b Amp (for Mids & Highs) which is  nestled under the seat.

Tom is as passionate as it comes when it comes to car audio installations and prefers using our welding cable whenever he has the opportunity.

Sending a big thanks to a very kind & talented shop manager in Tennessee named Kirk.  Kirk sent in a few photos of a a Type W Power Cord and an SOOW Cable he used for a submersible pump installation.

The picture above shows a 4/0 4 Conductor Type W Portable Power Cable spread apart inside the cap of a Cornell 150 HP pump, which is used at a waste-water lagoon.  As you can see from the photo, all four conductors were separated apart for this submersible pump installation.  Kirk says they epoxy fill the junction box to eliminate leaks.

In the picture below, you can see the smaller 16/4 SOOW Portable Cord which is also used on this Hydromatic 60 HP.  This submersible pump is used for water waste as well.



Kirk also left us a kind note saying, "Everything has been delivered in great shape and in a very timely manner. I will be doing business with you again in the future!"
