Applications:
Aluminum MC cable is suitable for use in branch, feeder, and service power distribution in high ambient temperatures across commercial, industrial, institutional, casino, and multi-residential buildings. It is used for power, lighting, control, and signal circuits in both concealed and exposed installations.

Suitable for:
- Environmental air-handling spaces per NEC 300.22
- Places of assembly per NEC 518.4
- Theaters per NEC 520.5
- Aerial applications when attached to a messenger
- Installation in cable trays and approved raceways
- Under raised floors for IT equipment per NEC 645.5(D) and 645.5(D)(2)
- Class I Div 2, Class II Div 2, and Class III Div 1 hazardous locations

Conductors:
Compact stranded 8000 series aluminum alloy conductors.

Insulation:
Color-coded cross-linked polyethylene (XHHW) or THHN/THWN insulation. The ground conductor is either bare or green insulated. A binder tape is wrapped over the conductor assembly.

Armor:
Overall aluminum interlocked armor.
